North Carolina native Attorney Jaden Grimes has roots in Jasper, a rural community outside New Bern, which has profoundly shaped his approach to the legal profession. A Campbell University graduate, Jaden completed both his undergraduate studies in Political Science, cum laude, and his law degree there, where he excelled as Vice President of the Black Law Students Association and founded ACTION, a student organization aimed at improving relationships between law enforcement and the community.

Jaden’s journey into law was driven by his passion for advocacy, particularly in addressing challenging community issues. His internships at the NC Family Policy Council, the Wake County District Attorney’s Office, and the Center for Responsible Lending equipped him with hands-on experience in legislative research, advocacy, and courtroom practice.

Since earning his J.D., Jaden has focused his career on Workers’ Compensation defense. His practical experience, from handling cases for the District Attorney to serving on Raleigh’s Police Advisory Board, has prepared him well for his career as a Worker’s Compensation Defense Attorney.  Jaden’s work is informed by his faith, love for problem-solving, and commitment to his clients’ success, making him a thoughtful advocate in every case he takes on.

When he’s not working, Jaden enjoys golfing, traveling, and exploring Raleigh’s vibrant dining scene. He’s also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and finds inspiration in the words of Martin Luther King, Jr.: “Hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.”
