Teague Campbell Announces 2025 DEI Scholarship Winner: Clinton N. Jones
Teague Campbell is pleased to announce Clinton N. Jones as the recipient of the 2025 Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Scholarship, awarded in memory of Charlotte W. Clark representing her values, community impact, and continued legacy.
Clinton is a J.D. candidate at Campbell University School of Law, where he serves as a Student Bar Association 1L Representative, Student Ambassador, and member of the Black Law Student Association, Hispanic Law Student Association, and the McIntyre‑Whichard Legal Fellows Program. He also provides meaningful pro bono service through the Capital Case Assistance Project, Capital Area Teen Court Project, and the Wake County Legal Support Center.
In his personal statement, Clinton emphasized his commitment to advancing representation within the legal field and using the law to support underserved communities. Raised with an understanding of adversity and resilience, he is dedicated to serving as a visible example for young Black men and ensuring that diversity becomes a lived reality within the legal profession. This commitment to representation, advocacy, and mentorship speaks directly to the values embodied by Mrs. Charlotte W. Clark — whose legacy of service, compassion, and community leadership remains central to this scholarship.
