News from NCIC- New Integrated Case Management System
The North Carolina Industrial Commission announced Wednesday, January 31st that its new integrated case management system will go live for external users in late February of 2024. The NCIC website stated that “…external users will be able to make a variety of requests electronically, including requests for secure leave, hearing audio, and Rehabilitation Professional Course registration.” Other relevant features cited will include an option for more streamlined form filings, a larger database of forms available electronically, and the ability to search hearing dockets to find hearing dates.
Teague Campbell partner Tracey Jones shared “We expect that the new NCIC case management system will bring efficiency to our attorneys and our clients; having the ability to access forms like the Form 18 and the Form 33 and hearing dockets immediately from the case system will be incredibly helpful.”
The Commission intends to send periodic updates regarding the new integrated case management system via email. You can subscribe to receive those here.
