Partner Bruce Hamilton Announces Retirement
Effective December 31, 2022, after 36 years of practicing law and over 31 years with Teague Campbell, Partner Bruce Hamilton will begin a well-deserved retirement. During his time with Teague Campbell, Bruce has been actively involved in shaping the legal landscape in North Carolina and is revered by peers and clients alike.
Bruce was a member of the legislative negotiations team for the 2005 Workers’ Compensation Reform Bill (House Bill 99), 2011 Workers’ Compensation Reform Bill (House Bill 709) and 2012 Amendments (House Bill 237), and he served on the North Carolina Industrial Commission Chairman’s Informal Advisory Council.
Bruce is a trusted advisor and steadfast advocate for his clients. He is a mentor to numerous attorneys and leaves behind an inspirational legacy. Bruce has imparted to his colleagues not only his extensive knowledge of the law, but also his enthusiasm for the law. Although Bruce is ending his active defense practice, he will begin an independent mediation practice effective January 1, 2023.
