Augusta Moran is a Workers’ Compensation attorney at Teague Campbell, where she represents employers, insurance carriers, and third party administrators in Workers’ Compensation matters across North Carolina. Her defense practice is informed by prior experience representing injured workers.
Before joining Teague Campbell, Augusta practiced Workers’ Compensation law with a Plaintiffs’ firm, where she managed a high volume caseload. Her experience included mediating and negotiating claims, arguing benefit and evidentiary issues, and representing clients at a variety of hearings and conferences. This background provides her with a practical understanding of claim strategy, evaluation, and resolution.
Augusta earned her Juris Doctor from Campbell University Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law in 2022. While in law school, she was a student clinician in the Restorative Justice Clinic, where she focused on client counseling, facilitated restorative justice conferences, and participated in mediation based resolutions. She also served as Director of the Peer Mentor Program and was actively involved in pro bono initiatives.
She received her undergraduate degree cum laude from Randolph Macon College, where she was a member of the Honors College, and double majored in French and Sociology with a minor in Women’s Studies. She remains engaged with her alma mater as a member of the Randolph Macon College Young Alumni Board.
A Raleigh native, Augusta recognizes the importance of serving fellow North Carolinians. Augusta is admitted to practice in North Carolina and is a member of the North Carolina State Bar, the Wake County Bar, and the Tenth Judicial District Bar.
Outside of her practice, Augusta is committed to volunteering with the Children and Youth Programs at her church, as well as serving on the YMCA Young Professionals Board at the YMCA of the Triangle. Augusta enjoys reading, exploring new restaurants, traveling, and writing letters.
