Amy L. Pfeiffer Joins Teague Campbell as Partner in the Workers’ Compensation Practice
Teague Campbell is pleased to announce that Amy L. Pfeiffer has joined the firm as a Partner in our Workers’ Compensation Practice. Amy brings more than 30 years of experience in North Carolina workers’ compensation law, with a career that spans the North Carolina Industrial Commission, private practice, and longstanding representation of employers, carriers, and third-party administrators.
Amy began her workers’ compensation career at the Industrial Commission in 1993, serving as an Agency Legal Specialist, Special Deputy Commissioner, and ultimately Deputy Commissioner. During her decade with the Commission, she conducted administrative hearings, ruled on medical motions, reviewed thousands of settlement agreements, and issued hundreds of Opinions & Awards. Since 2004, Amy has focused exclusively on workers’ compensation defense. She is a North Carolina State Bar Board Certified Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law, a certified mediator, and maintains an AV rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
Her extensive background and practical insight make her a strong addition to the firm’s growing workers’ compensation team.
“Amy is a tremendous addition to our practice,” said Tracey Jones, Co-Chair of the Workers’ Compensation Practice Group. “Her depth of experience, particularly her years at the Industrial Commission, gives her a perspective that is invaluable to our clients and our team. We are thrilled to welcome her to Teague Campbell.”
Executive Director Brad Inman echoed that enthusiasm. “We are excited to welcome Amy to the firm. Few practitioners bring Amy’s combination of Commission-side and defense-side experience to North Carolina workers’ compensation matters.”
Amy looks forward to continuing her work on behalf of employers and carriers as she transitions her practice to Teague Campbell.
