Caroline Parrish is a passionate legal advocate, serving as a key member of our Workers’ Compensation Practice Group. A native of Smithfield, North Carolina, Caroline combines deep local ties with a strong academic and professional foundation. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Political Science from East Carolina University, graduating cum laude, and went on to receive her Juris Doctor magna cum laude from Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law, where she ranked in the top 10% of her class.
Caroline’s legal career has been rooted in workers’ compensation and personal injury law. Before joining the firm, she represented plaintiffs before the North Carolina Industrial Commission, giving her a deep understanding of how injured workers approach claims—insight she now leverages to effectively defend employers and insurers. She has also appeared before the North Carolina Court of Appeals and Supreme Court, handling complex legal issues with precision and care.
At the firm, Caroline manages an active caseload of workers’ compensation claims, guiding clients through every stage of the process – from initial filings to mediation and resolution. Her deep understanding of workers’ compensation jurisprudence and her commitment to client-centered representation make her an invaluable asset to both her clients and the practice group.
Outside of work, Caroline is a competitive horseback rider who trains and cares for her two horses, Sammy and Henry, and her donkey, Ziggy, on her family farm. Her discipline and dedication in the ring mirror her approach to legal advocacy – focused, resilient, and compassionate.
