Emma Wingfield is a dedicated attorney with a deep commitment to community service and learning. She earned her J.D. from North Carolina Central University School of Law, where she was involved in the Public Interest Law Organization, Elder Law Project, VITA, and the Veterans Law Clinic. Her early legal experiences include internships with the Durham County District Attorney’s Office, the Nebraska Attorney General, and the Alamance County District Attorney’s Office, all of which gave her invaluable exposure to the intricacies of litigation.

Originally from Newport News, Virginia, Emma grew up in a family with a long legacy of military service. Before joining Teague Campbell, she practiced criminal and property law but now focuses on litigation. Her bar admissions include North Carolina, Virginia, the Eastern District of North Carolina, Middle District of North Carolina, Western District of North Carolina, and the Supreme Court of the United States.

Beyond the office, Emma is a baseball enthusiast (devoted Braves fan) and travel-lover on a mission to visit all 50 states. Her dog, Memphis, was a foster fail and is her steadfast companion on adventures. Known by her colleagues as honest, empathetic, and accountable, Emma is a devoted advocate, bringing passion and determination to every client’s case.
