TEL (704) 978-7690

FAX (919) 873-1814

Originally from Long Island, Jonathan lived in various East coast cities as his family relocated based on his father’s military assignments. He began to call North Carolina home in 1992 and continued to stay in the triangle area while earning his Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he also completed his undergraduate studies in Journalism and Mass Communication. During law school, Jonathan excelled as a Staff Writer for the First Amendment Law Review and demonstrated his natural leadership as the Dean’s Fellow Coordinator, overseeing the student mentoring program.

Before embarking on his legal career, Jonathan gained valuable experience interning with the City Attorney’s Office and working as a summer associate. His diverse background prepared him well for a multifaceted practice that includes workers’ compensation, general liability, construction litigation, premises liability, and employment law.

Jonathan’s passion for law stems from his undergraduate media law class, which ignited his interest in legal studies. He values the journey each case presents, appreciating the unique path to resolution that each client’s situation requires. His colleagues describe him as reliable, thoughtful, pragmatic, empathetic, and good-humored, qualities that resonate in his professional and personal interactions.

Jonathan is admitted to practice law in North Carolina, as well as before the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Western Districts of North Carolina, Mecklenburg County Bar, and Gaston County Bar. He is actively involved in professional organizations such as the NC Bar Association’s Workers’ Compensation Section and the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys, where he serves as the Workers Compensation Section Dispute Resolution Section Liaison.

Outside his legal practice, Jonathan is committed to giving back to his community, having previously fundraised for the NC Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. His dedication to service extends to his personal life, where he enjoys spending time with his wife and five-year-old daughter, exploring board games, visiting parks, and following his beloved New York Jets (no fair-weather fan, here).

In his leisure time, Jonathan indulges in reading about history, sports, and politics, as well as enjoying live music and occasionally performing as a stand-up comedian. His favorite vacation spot is London, particularly for the food and architecture.
