Natalia focuses her practice on defending municipalities, governments, and their respective officials and employees. Her investigative nature gives her a drive and love for the profession that sets her apart. As an advocate for her clients, she strives to be thorough, proactive, and responsive. Natalia currently serves as the Town Attorney for Plymouth and advises the Town Council on a variety of matters. She also supports the Public Sector Services team in interim roles for towns, cities, and counties across North Carolina.

In the broader realm of Municipal Law, Natalia handles a variety of claims for her clients including false arrest and imprisonment, use of force, Section 1983 claims, negligence, flooding, drowning, wrongful death, inverse condemnation, railroad accidents, bicycle accidents, premises liability and environmental torts. She regularly obtains dismissals based on nuanced defenses unique to the public sector, such as the immunity doctrine.

Natalia represents clients in North Carolina’s Superior Courts, the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of North Carolina and the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She has been recognized by North Carolina Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in her practice and has been included in The Best Lawyers in America© for Municipal Litigation from 2022-2024.

Natalia was born in Poland and grew up in the Washington, D.C. area. She graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology and a minor in Linguistics. Natalia’s first introduction to the legal field was working as a civil litigation paralegal. She was inspired to attend law school after helping a pro bono client recover funds that were wrongfully withheld by a landlord. Natalia attended Campbell University School of Law on a merit scholarship and received the North Carolina State Bar Pro Bono Student Award in 2007 for her work as President of the Project for Older Prisoners, a group dedicated to decreasing the financial burden on the state of the aging prison population. Prior to joining Teague Campbell, she clerked for the Honorable Ann Marie Calabria at the North Carolina Court of Appeals.

In addition to managing a busy practice, Natalia prioritizes family and giving back. She currently lives in Raleigh with her two children and volunteers with St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.
