Inspired by his father’s 50-year legacy in the legal industry, Daniel took an interest in the law from a young age. Daniel attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill for his undergraduate degree in Political Science and went on to earn his Juris Doctorate from Elon University School of Law. During his time in law school, Daniel was a member of Elon’s Mock Trial Team, and interned with the District Attorney’s office and a local medical malpractice firm.

Prior to joining Teague Campbell, Daniel gained valuable litigation experience in criminal defense and prosecution. Daniel now represents insurance carriers, third party administrators, and employers in a variety of civil matters. By focusing on the core issues of a case and keeping efficiency at the forefront, Daniel prides himself on bringing matters to a swift and successful resolution for his clients.

As an advisor, Daniel is amicable and down-to-earth. He works tirelessly for his clients and takes time to learn their business so he can craft unique solutions and understand their long-term goals. These are values that were instilled in him by his father, a well-respected plaintiff’s attorney in Fayetteville, North Carolina, who always had practical life lessons to share. Daniel believes in the quote “focus on remedies, not faults,” and brings that perspective to his work each day.

Daniel also believes in being well rounded. While he always wanted to become an attorney, he did have a run at competitive golf and was the bass guitarist for an outlaw country band. Daniel enjoys watching UNC-CH sports, spending time with family and friends and visiting the mountains with his wife.
