Always industrious, Chris paved his own path by working his way through high school and college and brings that same approach to his practice as a civil defense attorney. Chris is a licensed attorney in both North Carolina and California and represents insurance carriers, third party administrators, and employers in a variety of liability matters ranging from the average slip-and-fall and products liability matters to catastrophic industrial accidents and wrongful death cases. He also has specific experience with more niche cases involving veterinary malpractice suits, Section 1983 claims by incarcerated persons, rental fleet liability involving Graves Amendment issues, and allegations of wrongful vehicle repossession. Civil matters take time to work through the court system and require a diligent, yet practical attorney. By focusing on the core issues of a case and keeping efficiency at the forefront, Chris prides himself on bringing matters to a swift and successful resolution for his clients.

Chris took a leap of faith to move across the country when he chose to attend law school, moving from his home state of New York to California and the University of the Pacific. During his time at Pacific, Chris served as Managing Editor and Legislative Editor for the McGeorge Law Review and was a member of the Roger J. Traynor Honor Society. Following law school, Chris practiced for approximately six years in California, focusing primarily on insurance defense, construction defect, and employment law matters. He brought this same enterprising mindset with him when he moved back across the country to North Carolina and joined Teague Campbell.

As an advisor, Chris is amicable and down-to-earth. He works tirelessly for his clients and enjoys learning about their business priorities and definitions of success so he can help craft solutions to their problems and risk avoidance strategies.

In his free time, Chris enjoys live music and sports, but will settle for watching a game on television while playing records from his ever-growing vinyl collection. When it comes to getting out of the office, Chris loves to spend time with his wife, Danielle, and two sons, Joseph and Sean.
