TEL (919) 980-8614

FAX (919) 873-1814

Amanda lived in five states growing up, which afforded her the opportunity to meet new people and embrace different perspectives along the way. She moved to Raleigh shortly after she earned her B.S. in Business Administration from Presbyterian College, where she graduated cum laude. Prior to attending law school, Amanda worked as an industrial recruiter. That experience provided her with knowledge from an employer’s perspective that she weaves into her workers’ compensation practice as a litigator and an advisor.

Amanda graduated cum laude from Elon University School of Law, where she was an Academic Fellow and an Admissions Ambassador. She was a member of the Moot Court Board and recognized as a Top 10 Oral Advocate in Elon’s Intramural Moot Court Competition.

A variety of internships provided the exposure Amanda needed to determine the next step in her career. She interned in family law, on an in-house legal team, and in residential real estate. It was her time on the in-house legal team where she gained insight into employment and workers’ compensation claims that led her to civil litigation defense. Amanda’s natural abilities in creative thinking and problem-solving pair well with the advocacy and challenge inherent in the practice of law. She prioritizes people and relationships in her life and brings that same level of commitment to the client-attorney relationship.

Outside of work, Amanda enjoys spending time with her partner, Elliott, and their dog, Winnie. They enjoy entertaining friends and trying out new restaurants in the area. They appreciate the outdoor spaces and culture that Raleigh has to offer, from the Raleigh greenway system to the NC Museum of Art. When she’s not exploring the city with Winnie, Amanda enjoys running and riding her Peloton. Her favorite vacation spot every summer is the beach where she catches up on her fiction books, but she looks forward to traveling more now that law school is over.
