TEL (919) 873-0166
FAX (919) 873-1814
Born and raised in North Carolina, Alison headed to the mountains to study psychology and criminal justice at Appalachian State University. Her undergraduate studies, coupled with encouragement from her family, led her back home to Chapel Hill to obtain her Juris Doctorate from the University of North Carolina School of Law. Alison is the first attorney in a family of engineers, and she thrives on the opportunity to solve complicated problems in an innovative way.
During her time at UNC School of Law, Alison was a civil rights team member for the Holderness Moot Court, served as Symposium Editor for the First Amendment Law Review and was a student mentor for the Women in Law group. In her leadership role with First Amendment Law Review, she researched, organized, and hosted the 2019 Symposium, “The First Amendment and an Informed Society.” Alison also completed a Judicial Externship for The Honorable Justice Paul M. Newby of the North Carolina Supreme Court.
Prior to joining Teague Campbell, Alison gained invaluable experience as a Judicial Fellow at the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts supporting superior court judges throughout the state. These skills translate well into her practice as a civil litigation defense attorney representing businesses, insurance companies and governmental entities. Alison enjoys analyzing issues from various points of view and working collaboratively with a team to determine the best solution for the client.
In her free time, Alison enjoys spending time outdoors with her family. She can be found at the beach or the lake, hiking local parks, or just relaxing on the back porch with her parents and siblings. While Alison is a true North Carolina native, enjoying all that the state has to offer, she also has a passion for travel, history, art, and architecture. In addition to studying abroad, she has visited many international countries and looks forward to seeing Dublin and Rome on her next adventure.
