A lifelong North Carolinian, Lindsey graduated from North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and minors in Spanish and Sociology.  She continued on to North Carolina Central University where she received her Juris Doctor degree in 2016.

Lindsey served as Executive Editor of the North Carolina Central University Law Review. She also held positions as Secretary and Newsletter Chairman for the Pro Bono Council. Lindsey was an active participant in the Lawyers 4 Literacy program throughout law school and continues to be a weekly participant in this program. Lindsey has benefited from several internships that have exposed her to various areas of the law. She interned with the North Carolina Innocence Inquiry Commission, the Wake County Family Court Office and the Wake County Guardian ad Litem Program.

Lindsey has a fraternal twin sister and comes from a very close knit family. She looks forward to tailgating with her family every fall during football season. In her free time, Lindsey enjoys being outside with her dachshund and trying new restaurants with friends.
