Lindsay focuses the majority of her practice in the area of workers’ compensation.  She is well versed in the North Carolina workers’ compensation system and enjoys walking with her clients every step of the way.  She represents a variety of insurance carriers and employers, but has specific experience in the healthcare and automotive industries, and with asbestos defense.  Lindsay also works with the Municipal Law team to represent counties in property tax appeals.

As an attorney, Lindsay values people and relationships which mimics the kind of person she is outside of the courtroom.  She is efficient, focused and strategic in her approach to all legal matters and clients appreciate her advocacy.

A native of Cleveland, OH, Lindsay attended Cleveland State University and received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism and Promotional Communication.  Given her love for writing, and in search of less snow, she ventured south to Wake Forest University School of Law where she received her Juris Doctor.  During law school, Lindsay was a member of the National Trial Team and the National Moot Court Team.  Lindsay also participated in the Wake Forest Civil and Criminal Externship Clinic, where she was able to utilize her advocacy skills in the courtroom.  Upon completion of her program, Lindsay was inducted into The Order of Barristers, which recognizes students for excellence in trial advocacy during law school.

Lindsay’s family, including two sisters, still live in Ohio but she happily calls North Carolina home and appreciates the warmer temperatures.  Lindsay lives downtown with her husband Zach and their rescue dog Red.  She authors a blog, Welcome to Raleighwood, which chronicles and reviews the essence of downtown Raleigh – from new restaurants and bars to events and products – giving her the opportunity to experience it all first-hand.  Lindsay also enjoys reading fantasy or fiction titles and playing any type of strategy board game or video game.  She and Zach regularly meet up with friends for trivia night and make a pretty intimidating team.
