Originally from a small farming town in New Jersey, Kendra spent time in Georgia and North Carolina as a child, which provided an introduction to the South that captured her heart. She attended Liberty University where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Government: Politics and Policy and went on to receive her Juris Doctor degree from Wake Forest University School of Law.

Following her time at Liberty, Kendra took a year-long position with Covenant House in New York City where she served homeless young adults. That experience launched her into law school where she gained a true appreciation for litigation and advocacy. During her time at Wake Forest, Kendra was a team captain for the American Association of Justice Trial Team that won the National Competition in 2017. She also participated in the Litigation Clinic at Wake Forest, which placed her with Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center General Counsel and Allman Spry. Kendra served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Mark Davis at the NC Court of Appeals, and completed internships with the NCDOJ Special Prosecution Section and the 13th District Attorney’s Office. Upon completion of her degree, Kendra was inducted into The Order of Barristers, which recognizes students for excellence in trial advocacy during law school.

Kendra comes from a very tight-knit family, is a first generation college student and the first in her immediate family to attend graduate school of any kind. Her dad was in the Air Force, and she credits his emphasis on education and discipline with much of her academic and professional success. She spends her free time outdoors enjoying pastimes such as hiking, camping and rafting. After passing the Bar, Kendra hiked the Coast to Coast with her mom, which is a 200 mile hike across northern England. Her adventurous spirit lends itself to some pretty amazing experiences, but she doesn’t take herself too seriously. As an attorney, she is genuinely invested in her clients and puts forth the same amount of energy and determination into representing them that has carried her throughout her life.
