Bryan has over two decades of experience advising businesses and municipalities on legal and regulatory issues, and representing businesses in a variety of litigation. His clients count on Bryan’s combination of business acumen and experience as a litigator to enable them to avoid the type of business interruption that comes with costly litigation. In addition to his litigation practice, Bryan serves as outside general counsel for small and mid-sized North Carolina businesses.

Bryan currently focuses his litigation practice on business and commercial law, real estate professional liability, commercial trucking and transportation liability and complex construction defect claims. In addition to representing clients in cases in all of the State and Federal civil courts in North Carolina, his practice includes representation of clients before administrative agencies and professional licensing agencies including the North Carolina Real Estate Commission and the North Carolina Licensing Board for General Contractors.

In 2016, Bryan was selected by Business North Carolina magazine for inclusion in their Legal Elite for his work in both construction and litigation. In 2008, he was named one of the Top Lawyers in Trial/Litigation by Triangle Business Leader and in 2012 he was named a Top Rated Construction Lawyer by The American Lawyer and Corporate Counsel. He has been listed in The Best Lawyers in America© for Personal Injury Litigation – Defendants and Litigation – Municipal since 2013 and was named the Best Lawyers® 2018 Litigation-Municipal “Lawyer of the Year” in Raleigh. In 2009, Bryan was selected for membership in the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance. He was formerly Co-Chair of the Construction Law Committee of the North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys.
